My Journey
My name is Jenna Erickson and I am the founder of 42K9 Dog Training. I was inspired to begin my training career by my rescue dogs, Layla, Zelda and Link. All 3 dogs have helped me get through some very tough times in my life. Their bond means everything to me and has helped me to heal.
My love for my dogs knows no bounds and I want to do everything with them, from hiking to Netflix marathons. To spend more time bonding, we went through a lot of training. Once Zelda and I finished basic obedience, we both wanted more! We moved on to get our Canine Good Citizen certification, therapy dog certification, some AKC trick titles, and now we are exploring nose work, competing in AKC scent work trials. Because I've developed such a strong bond with my dogs and they've helped me so much in my life, I decided to continue fueling my passion to work with dogs. I become a dog trainer to help people who want this strong, loving bond with their dogs.

Our Approach
We use science-based, positive reinforcement training techniques to teach pets new skills and behaviors. Our approach focuses on building trust and communication between pets and their owners, resulting in a happier, more well-behaved pet.
